The BJP-led state government has failed in every field and lost moral ground to continue with affairs of the state, alleged B Ramanath Rai, MLA, Bantwal. The former minister was addressing agitators at a protest held at B C Road on Thursday November 13, organized by Bantwal Block Congress Committee, against the irregular power supply.
 
People all over the state have been forced to spend sleepless nights owing to the anti-people’s policy of the administration, he said. Students, agriculturists, businessmen, and industrialists, are fed up with the irregular electricity supply, said Rai and urged the ruling government to step down.  

Harikrishna Bantwal, KPCC spokesman, said the irregularity of electricity had disqualified the BJP-led state government from ruling. Ashvini Kumar Rai, KPCC member, Mamata Gatti, president, district women’s Congress, A C Bhandary, member, zilla panchayat, B H Khader, vice-president, DK District Congress Committee, Kodijal Ibrahim, Chandrahas Shetty Bolantoor, president, taluk panchayat, Padmashekar Jain, president, Bantwal Block Congress, S Abbas, former member, zilla panchayat, Kanchalakshi, vice-president, taluk panchayat, leader B K Iddinabba, Riyaz Hussein, Ida Suresh, and Naseem Hassan were present on the occasion.
 
Chandrahas Karkera, president, Panemangalur Block Congress, welcomed the gathering.  K H Abubaker proposed vote of thanks. A memorandum in this regard was presented to the Tahsildar to be forwarded to the chief minister.
