M’lore: FMC Nursing Students Conduct Health Education Programme at Mullakad

Mangalore, Nov 13: Final year M Sc (nursing) students of Fr Muller College of Nursing, held a health programme at ZP Higher Primary School located at Mullakad, on Wednesday November 12.

They imparted health education to students, teachers, and parents. Renny D Souza, director of VALORED, conducted a session on adolescence wherein a video on the subject as well as personal hygiene was shown. 

Sanjeev Tailor, president, school betterment committee, Deepak Poojary, corporator, Irene Alvares, associate professor, community health, Chandravati Rai, head teacher f the school and Shiji P J, organizing secretary, were present on the occasion. Sr Jacinta, principal, Fr Muller College of Nursing, presided over the function.

Sarita Fernandes welcomed the gathering and Jyothilal proposed the vote of thanks. Jasmine Vas compered the programme. The doctors of Fr Muller Medical College conducted a free health check camp on the occasion.
