Mangalore: Holy Family Girls’ High School Hosts Taluk-level Science Quiz

A taluk-level science quiz and essay competition was held at Holy Family Girls’ High School, Bajpe, on Tuesday November 11, jointly organized by Dakshina Kannada zilla panchayat, office of block education officer and the school.
 
Subrahmanya Sharma, science invigilator, inaugurated the programme and Victoria D’Cunha, member, Dakshina Kannada zilla panchayat, presided. Sudhakar Rao Pejavar, district Rajyotsav award winner and president of Dakshina Kannada district science teachers’ forum, was felicitated on the occasion. Arun Kumar Shetty, science teacher, A K U High School, delivered the felicitation speech.
 
George Castelino of Nakre, Karkala, provided information on ‘Exposure of Suspense Behind the Miracle’.  Venkatesh, education coordinator delivered the introductory address.  Sr Fullet B S welcomed the gathering.  Sukanya proposed vote of thanks and school teacher Vasudev Rao Kudupu compered the programme.
