Udupi, Oct 27: Hearing with regard to the ghastly murder of NRI entrepreneur from here, Bhaskar Shetty K, continued in the district chief and sessions court here on Friday October 26.
L Purushotham, assistant director of DNA department of forensic science laboratory at Bengaluru, who had remained absent during successive hearings, appeared in the court on Friday and recorded his evidence.
Senior advocate, Shantaram Shetty, who has been appointed as special public prosecutor in the case, recorded the statement of Purushotham. On this occasion, advocates for the defendants subjected Purushotham to cross examination. The cross examination continued till the evening. As the cross examination remained inconclusive, it will continue on Saturday.
