Mangalore: Training Workshop for Class VII Konkani Teachers on Nov 13

Mangalore, Nov 12: A day-long training workshop for Konkani teachers of Class VII, will be held at Shanti Kiran Bajjodi on Thursday November 13, jointly organized by the Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy and District Institute of Education Training (DIET) under Karnataka state public instruction department.
DIET principal Philomena Lobo will inaugurate the workshop at 9.30 am on Thursday and Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy president Narayan Kharvi will preside. Konkani Prachar Sanchalan president Roy Castelino will be the chief guest.
Former president of the academy Eric Ozario, Steven Quadros, and Fr Valerian Fernandes, will be the resource persons of the training workshop. The academy seeks the participation of all teachers teaching Konkani to Class VII students, said their press release.
