Kundapur: Accident Ends Life of Young Entrepreneur

Kundapur, Nov 10: A well-known local entrepreneur named N E Mohammed (37) lost his life in an unfortunate accident that occured at Kolkebail village near Siddapur in  the taluk on the morning  of  Sunday November 9.

Mohammed was moving towards his industrial concern from his room in Halady in his Opel Corsa car, when he lost control of the car. The car then hit a roadside tree and turned turtle, killing him instantly.

Mohammed, owner of 'Trupti' brand of bidis and 'Amar' brand of soaps that are popular in the taluk, was well-known for his social service and philanthropic activities. He was soft-natured and member of Siddapur-Hosangady Rotary Club.

He is survived by wife, two sons, mother and brother. Eyewitnesses said,, that the  sand scattered on the sides of the road caused the car to skid and hit the tree.

As soon as the news of the industrialist's death spread, shops in Siddapur downed shutters as a mark of respect for the deceased.
