Puttur: ‘Manikya Sambrama’ Celebrated at Mahalingeshwara Temple

Puttur, Nov 10: The ‘Anjaneya Manikya Sambrama’ programme organized by Boluvaru Anjaneya Yakshagana Kala Sangha, was held at Nataraja auditorium of the Mahalingeshwara Temple.

Sri Vidyaprasanna Teertha Swami of Subrahmanya Math, inaugurated the programme. President of Kannada Sahitya Parishat Pradeep Kumar Kalkura was the chief guest.

‘Sindura Bairava’, by S N Joshi of Puttur, was released by Tenkutittu Yakshagana artiste Balipa Narayana Bhagavat.

Honorary president of Manikya Sambrama Samiti J L Acharya presided over the function. Narayana Maniyani, trustee, Boluvaru Anjaneya Mantralaya, and K Sitaram Rai Savanooru, president, Manikya Sambrama Samiti, were present on the occasion.

Bhaskar Barya delivered the speech. Vice-president Muliya Shyam Bhat welcomed the gathering and Prof B J Suvarna proposed vote of thanks. Lawyer Chidananda Bailady and Chidananda Kamat Kasargod, president, Boluvaru Cultural Art Club, compered the programme.
