Mangalore: Muslim Welfare, Riyadh Secretary Abdul Rauf (26) Passes Away

Mangalore, Nov 9: Abdul Rauf Mutinakoppa, aged 26, (Was employed in Riyadh), died in Mangalore at his residence following a brief illness, at  Jokatte. Abdul Rauf had been employed in Noor Consult contracted with STC (Saudi Telecommunication Company) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia since the past 5 years. He originally hails from Mutinakoppa,  but later shifted his residence to Jokatte in D.K. district. He left for India from Riyadh  a few  days back for medical treatment for his illness. He had recently got engaged and was looking forward to his marriage next month. His untimely death has put all his friends and well wishers in extreme shock in Riyadh and India.

His friends remember him as a  very sociable, good natured and friendly person  .  He held the post of  General Secretary of the Muslim Welfare Association for the last 2 years. Many people and organizations like Jami'yathul Falah (JF) Riyadh Unit, Sadiq Puttige and others have expressed their condolences on his untimely death. JF Riyadh Unit has offered the funeral Prayer for his eternal forgiveness and peace during Asar prayer in its Monthly meeting held on Friday.
