Udupi: Three-day Law Workshop Inaugurated on Court Premises

Udupi, Nov 9: A three-day of law workshop, organized jointly by the State Bar Council, National Law School of India University, and District Bar Association, was inaugurated on the premises of the court complex here on Saturday November 8.

Muniappa, vice-chariman, State Bar Council, was the chief guest of the occasion. He said that young lawyers should attend more workshops on law and acquire knowledge. The lack of knowledge of lawyers should not affect the clients, he opined. Shivakumar, president, State Bar Council, inaugurated the programme.



Mattar Ratnakar Hegde, president, District Bar Association, presided over the function.

District judge K N Phaneendra, Narayan Poojary, Seetaram Shettty, P P Hegde and N Jagadeesh, were present on the occasion. Devdas Shetty welcomed the gathering and Dinesh Nayak proposed the vote of thanks.
