Mangalore, Nov 7: The programme to distribute the sewing machine was organized by the Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemical Limited (MRPL) at the Madhya Samaj Bhavan of Chelyar gram panchayat.
The organization distributed the sewing machine of worth Rs one lac to 20 beneficiaries.
Presiding over the occasion president of Mangalore taluk panchayat Vajrakshi P Shetty praised the organization for involving in the community development programmes.
General manager of MRPL Manjusha Bhatnagar, president of Accounts Standing Committee Rajani Duganna, vice-president of Chelyaru gram, panchayat Pushparaj Shetty, social worker Sunila and lecturer Dayavati of Roshni Nilaya were the chief guests.
Y D Salian of MRPL welcomed the gathering. Sreesha Karmaran compered the programme.
