Mangalore: Cricket Tourney Commence in City on Nov 6

Mangalore, Nov 7: The G B Cup inter-pre-university college-level cricket tourney was held at the Nehru Maidan in the city on Thursday November 6.

The president of District Cricket Association Dr Shrikant Rai inaugurated the tourney.

Ten teams from Aloysius College (A and B), Canara College, Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College (SDM), Chinmaya College, Sharada Vidyalaya, Shri Ramakrishna, Milagres, Govinda Das and K M E S College of Karkala are participating in the tourney.

Joint secretary of Dakshina Kannada Cricket Association Ratan Kumar, Venugopal Kaikamba, Sujit Kumar and manager Kasturi Balakrishna were present at the inaugural function.
