Mangalore: Fake Passport - Man Working in KSA Arrested

Mangalore, Nov 6: A person named Ahsraf alias Samir from Shantiangady in Mooda village of Bantwal taluk was arrested by the Bajpe policemen from the local airport on Wednesday November 5, on the charge of using fake passport for travel.  He had arrived from Saudi Arabia.

Ashraf was working in Saudi Arabia since the last eight years. It is alleged that he succeeded in coming here, by using the fake passport, standing in the name of Musiyulla Shariff from Shimoga. He arrived here by Air India Express flight via Doha Bahrain.

The immigration officials, who found out the fraud, handed over him to the police. He has since been remanded to judicial custody.
