Mangalore: Judicial Custody of Terror Suspects Extended

Mangalore, Oct 31:  The judicial custody of the terror suspects arrested from the twin-districts, was extended by a city court till November 12.

The policemen of the district had arrested Fakir Bawa from Mallur in Udupi district and Rafique from Bolanthoor village of Bantwala taluk, on October 16. They later raided some sites in Chikmagalur district from recovered tools, bomb-making equipments, explosives etc.,

The policemen had requested the court for the extension of their remand, as investigations into their role in terrorism-related activities has not yet been concluded.
