Puttur, Oct 30: 'Vruksha Rakshana-Marisha Kalyana' Talamaddale, authored by Prof Amruth Someshwar, was presented under the aegis of the Science Centre and Vanasuma - Nature and Environment Club of the government degree college here, at the college auditorium recently.
Both the senior and junior artistes like Sridhar Rao, Chandrashekar Acharya Guruvayanakere, Vinaya Acharya Kadaba, Gopalakrishna Shastri, Radhakrishna Kalchar, Gopal Shetty Kalanja, Diwakar Acharya and others took part in the event.
Artistes like Gopalkrishna Shastri, Sridhar Rao and Ashok Bhat were felicitated on the occasion.
Fr John Vas, Prof Gopal Gowda, president of Jaycee Pravin Rai, Kaje Eshwara Bhat, Harishchandra Acharya and others were present.
Science Centre in-charge Diwakar Acharya welcomed the gathering. Gopal Shetty proposed vote of thanks. Pushpavati compered the programme.
