Mangalore, Oct 29: A few tahsildars of the twin-districts have been transferred. Their places of posting and also the names those who have been posted in their places, are as follows:

Udupi tahsildar V B Fernandes has been transferred to Yellapur and he is being replaced by Prasanna, tahsildar of Madhugiri in Tumkur district. Karkala tahsildar Lakshman Singh has been transferred to Koodligi in Bellary district while Moodbidri special tahsildar Achutha will be replacing him. Karwar electoral tahsildar Vasudhish Tannirbhavi will come to Dakshina Kannada district as electoral tahsildar in place of A G Nayak, who will take charge as the elctoral tahsildar of Uttara Kannada district. Sullia tahsildar Aruna Prabha has been transferred to Bangalore. Mary Mathias, presently functioning as the protocol tahsildar in the office of the deputy commissioner, Mysore district, will be the new municipal tahsildar of Udupi deputy commissioner's office.
