Mangalore, Oct 28: The city chapter of the Institute of company secretaries of India held an 'Investors Awareness conference' in Kodialbail in the city recently.

The money should be invested carefully, after studying the current situation and future prospects, as it helps one to escape from the lurking dangers, said associate professor of Nitte K S Hegde Institute of Management Radhakrishna Sharma, participating as a resource person at the event.

Sellers and buyers of stocks can bargain only on the price, but the exchange will decide on quality of the product and other things associated with it, he said.

The local unit president of the Institute of Company Secretaries, Ullas Kumar M, welcomed the gathering. Vice president Y V Balachandra introduced the resource person. Secretary S K Das proposed vote of thanks.
