Udupi: Mangalore DCCW Convention on Oct 29 at Brahmavar

The annual convention of the Mangalore Diocesan Council of Catholic Women (DCCW) will be held on Wednesday October 29 at S M S Community Hall, Brahmavar, near here, said DCCW president Reena Roache, on Saturday October 25, in a press conference.
 
The convention will be inaugurated by Bishop Aloysius Paul D’Souza at 9.30 am on Wednesday.  Prof Leena Fernandes will be the resource person. Around 1,000 Catholic women from the parishes of Udupi, Karkala, Puttur, Beltangady, Mangalore, Kasargod, and other parishes under Mangalore diocese, will take part in the convention, she added.
 
DCCW office bearers Mabel D’Souza, Sindhya Dias, Lydwin Pinto and Sylvester D’Almeida were present at the press conference.
