1,000 Haj Pilgrims Vaccinated in Mangalore

Mangalore, Oct 26: All the members who have registered themselves for Haj pilgrimage of the year were administered with Menengococal vaccination.
 
As many as 1,000 Haj pilgrims were vaccinated at a special drive held at Yenepoya Speciality Hospital in Kodialbail here on Saturday.

“The vaccine protects the pilgrims from the possible brain infections,” informed the physicians involved in the drive.

MLA U T Khader inaugurated the programme. Yenepoya Mohammed Kunhi, Aziz Malar and Ibrahim Bava were present.

The organisers informed that a special training for Haj pilgrims will be conducted at Zeenath Baksh Yathim Khana at Bunder on October 28.
