Mangalore: Seminar on ‘Peace for Humanity’ on Oct 27

Mangalore, Oct 26: The South Karnataka Salafi Movement (SKSM) will organize a seminar on ‘Peace for Humanity’, at the Town Hall on Monday October 27.

Addressing the media here on Saturday October 25, Ismail Shaffi, member, CAC, said Zaid Patel, president, IIC, Mumbai, will deliver a lecture on ‘Terrorism vs Jihad’, in the first session of the seminar, which starts at 4.30 pm.

Suddeen Muhammed Hamzah will speak on ‘My Journey to Islam’, and Umar Shariff, president, Discover Islam Education Trust, will deliver a lecture on ‘The Concept of Peace and Justice in An Islamic Perspective’, followed by a question and answer session.

He said that a religious study camp will be organized for women from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. Zarina Nawaz, Qadizathul Qubra Muhammadiya, and Noor Jahan, will also give  lectures on various topics.

Muhammadh Ilyas, M Sharfuddin Deralakatte, M G Muhammed, and Muhammad Nawaz, were present at the press meet.
