Mangalore, Oct 25: A state-level human resource conference was organized by the human resource forum of Roshni Nilaya College of Social work in the city, recently.

Speaking after inaugurating the programme, V K Talitaya, president, Mangalore Primacy Industry, said that in India, human resource is available in large quantities, but this is not viewed positively.

The growth of an organization is not possible through machines or buildings, but only through human resources. The role of human resources in the development of the country’s economy is significant, he said.

Fr Francis Serrao, administrative manager, St Aloysius College, Apollo Fernandes, vice-president, Mangalore Chemical Fertilizers, and Dr Jacinta D’Souza, college principal and head of human resource department, were present on the occasion.
