Karkala: Naxal Vikram Gowda Visits House in Nadpal – ANF Clueless

Daijiworld Media Network – Karkala (GA)

Karkala, Oct 25: Sources here told that Vikram Gowda, one of the Naxal activists visited his house located in Nadpal, on Wednesday October 22.

He visited the home in the night and left it after having dinner with his family members, sources added. A total of 4 armed women were with him while he visited the house. The Anti-Naxal Force (ANF) had the inkling about the visit of Vikram Gowda. Though the ANF did the search operations around his house, they could not achieve anything.

Vikram Gowda had left his house about a decade ago. He is one of the most wanted Naxals in the police list. Meanwhile, the police department has declared prize of Rs 10 lac for those who give clues about the whereabouts of Vikram Gowda.

He worked in a hotel in Hebri for 12 years and he was known for his hard work. He became Naxal after the policemen harassed him by taking to Koodlu forest under pretext that he was a Naxal informer. It is said that of recent, Vikram Gowda has married a Naxal lady, who is staying with him.

Vikram Gowda’s visit to his house despite ANF’s presence in the area has once again proved that ANF is indeed inefficient in handling Naxal menace and that rural people still sympathise with Naxalites.
