Mangalore: ‘Kon Thum Anja’ at Kalangann on Nov 2

Mangalore, Oct 24:
‘Kon Thum Anja’, a Konkani play by ‘Mandd Sobhann’ drama troupe, will be staged at the ‘Noreen and Ronald Mendonca Open Stage’ of Kalangann, Konkani amphitheater, at 6.00 pm on Sunday November 2.

This will be the troupe’s 83rd monthly cultural programme.

Mandd Sobhann is a premier organization striving to preserve Konkani culture and traditions worldwide. The play is an experiment based on love, laughter, and suspense, enacted by just two actors and making optimum use of innovative technology.  Martin D’Souza and Christopher D’Souza, are the actors.
 
Its playwright and director is John Permannur and music is by the Charan Kumar and group. ‘Kalakar Puraskar—2008’, instituted by Thomas Stevens Konkani Kendra—Karval Kutam, will be awarded on the occasion.
