Udupi: Coastal Security Police Get Five Vehicles

Udupi, Oct 24: Five new well-equipped Tata Sumo vehicles were handed over to the Udupi unit of the Coastal Security Force recently.

The vehicles have been provided to enable the security force to contain terrorism, smuggling, treason and anti-social organizations as also to reinforce the Force.

In the presence of the state director general of police R Srikumar and additional director general of police S T Ramesh, the vehicles were handed over to Udupi Coastal Security Force inspector H R Bhagwandas, a release from the police department said.
