Moodbidri: ‘Kajulo Parab-‘08’ at Alangar Holy Rosary Church on Nov 1

Moodbidri, Oct 23: ‘Kajulo Parab—2008’, will be held at Holy Rosary church auditorium, Alangar, from 9.30 am to 3.00 pm on Saturday November 1. The event is being organized by ‘Kajulo’, Konkani children’s monthly, in association with Alanagar parish, to mark the decennial celebrations of their publication.
Sr Pricilla D’Mello, superior, Holy Rosary Convent, will preside over the programme. Veteran Kannada children’s litterateur Palakala Sitaram Bhat, will be the chief guest of the occasion while Alangar parish priest Fr Vincent D’Souza will be the guest of honour.
Various competitions for children, entertainment programmes, and an inter-parish Konkani dance contest, will be held on the occasion. The book release and distribution of prizes to winners of various competitions will be part of the valedictory function to be held from 3.00 pm to 4.00 pm on Saturday.
