Sullia: Girish Bharadhwaj Honoured with Coveted 'Citizen Journalist' Award

Sullia, Oct 23: Engineer Girish Bharadhwaj was honoured with the 'Citizen Journalist Award' by the 'Change' section of CNN -IBN channel at Delhi recently.

Girish has earned a name for himself in the State and neigbouring states, in the field of designing and building hanging bridges. He is the owner of 'Aryashilpa', a company that is specializing in this field and has already designed and built over 75 hanging bridges all over the country.

He has erected bridges at Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Tamil Nadu in addition to Karnataka. He has also executed some attractive hanging bridges in Madikeri, Puttur etc., including a number of bridges across Payasvini River around Sullia, facilitating people living in isles to have safe and easy access to the mainland.
