Udupi: Police Martyr Day Celebrated at Armed Forces Ground

Udupi, Oct 23: Police martyr day was held at the armed forces ground in the city on Tuesday October 21.

The event paid tribute to martyrs who lost their life in the line of duty. Chief executive officer of Udupi zilla panchayat, Prasanna Kumar, paid floral tributes to the martyrs.

Inspector general of police, Pravin Pawar, made mention of the 651 sincere police officials of the country who lost their life over the past year. District home commandant Dr Ganapati Bhat, R L Dias, and others, paid floral tributes on behalf of retired officers.
