Bantwal, Oct 21: The students union of Vittal First Grade College was inaugurated in the city recently.
Presiding over the occasion, Puttur MLA Mallika Prasad said that the students should develop discipline and leadership qualities throughout their lives and become good citizens of the country.
"Our lives should be completely devoted for the development of our beloved country. We must think about the responsibility facing the challenges the country is facing, said former Vittal MLA K Padmanabha Kottari.
Retired principal of IDSG government first grade college Chikmaglur Prof Shankar Bhat was the chief guest. Principal Laila Mary George was present on the occasion.
President of the Students Union Shrutin K S welcomed the gathering. Joint Secretary Pavitra N proposed vote of thanks. NSS minister of college Naveen Konaje compered the programme.
