Udupi, Oct 20: A primary camp for teachers was jointly organized by the public education department of Bharatiya Vikas Trust and the Bharat Scouts and Guides, in the city recently.
Speaking after inaugurating the camp, K K Pai, registrar, Academy of General Education, Manipal, said that everyone must adopt a helping nature. Creative work is done through scouts and guides,he added.
The administrative trustee of Bharatiya Vikas Trust, K M Udupa, was the chief guest. Lakshmi Bai, leader Bommanna, and Vasant Kumar were present.
Shekar Poojary proposed vote of thanks. Jayakara Shetty compered the programme.
