Mangalore: Mobile Campain, 'Ring the Bell' Launched

Mangalore, Oct 18: An innovative campaign aimed at stopping atrocities on women by the women and men together, titled 'Ring the Bell' was launched in the city on Friday October 17.

The programme got its initiation at the Nehru Maidan here. The video van will move all over the district.



Assistant director of Break Through, an organization that has taken up the programme, Alikha Khosla said, that in addition to spreading awareness about HIV, AIDs, information on the womens' protection act against family atrocitie etc.,, street plays, games, audio and video shows will be held by the organisation during the campaign.
