Udupi: ‘Ayurveda Week’ from Oct 21 at Chaitanya Research Centre

The Chaitanya Rejuvenation Ayurveda Centre will be organizing an ‘Ayurveda Week’, with a special series of lectures at their research centre in Kunjibettu, near here, from Tuesday October 21 to Monday October 27. Dr Thanmaya Goswamy, announced this in a press conference held on Friday October 17. 
 
Dr Goswamy said that the chief objective of the event is to educate people of the consequences of modern life on their health and to take preventive measures in restoring their well-being. 
 
Dr Gowri and Dr Mamata Naveen will give a lecture on infertility on Tuesday October 21.  Dr M S Kamath and Dr Satyanarayan Bhat will deliver a talk on pediatrics on Wednesday October 22 while Dr Ashok Kumar Okude and Dr Basavaraj will deliver a lecture on digestive disorders, diabetes, and cholesterol, on Thursday October 23. 
 
Dr Harvalkar and Dr Ramakrishna Acharya will talk about allergies and skin diseases on Friday October 24 whereas Dr Dr B V Prasanna and Dr Srikanth U, will speak on stroke and paralysis on Saturday October 25. 
 
Dr Padma Rao and Dr K K C Nambiar will lecture on respiratory diseases and provide information on yoga, after a ‘dhanvantari homa’, at 9.00 am on Sunday October 26.  A lecture on the benefits of ayurvedic massage will be held on Monday October 27.  Those interested in attending are advised to contact 08204-293980 at the earliest, as only 50 persons can attend, added Dr Goswamy.
