Is Rahul trying to run a parallel govt: BJP targets Cong over Sidhu's Pak visit

New Delhi, Aug 21(Zee News): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday hit out at the Congress party and its chief Rahul Gandhi over cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu’s visit to Pakistan to attend the swearing-in ceremony of country’s newly-elected Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Accusing Sidhu of trying of imply that Indians have small heart, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said, “It's sad that Navjot Sidhu has somewhat tried to implicate India in all this by saying Indians have small hearts. We condemn this.”

Targeting Congress president Rahul Gandhi over Sidhu’s visit and subsequent press conference, the BJP spokesperson said, “We want an answer on this not from Sidhu ji but from Rahul ji. Is Rahul ji trying to run a parallel government?”

Sambit Patra further alleged that there were people in the Congress party who were trying to promote the interests of Pakistan in India. “Congress party and Rahul Gandhi are trying to add fuel to the conspiracy hatched by Pakistan,” said the BJP leader.

“The way Navjot Singh Sidhu has put questions on India with his press conference, Rahul Gandhi must give answers to our questions,” Patra said.

He added, “Navjot Singh Sidhu holds a press conference and says that what he got in Pakistan in just two days, he could not get it throughout in life in India. We want to ask Rahul Gandhi as to what their leaders get when they go to Pakistan.”

The attack by the BJP came shortly after Sidhu held a press conference and justified his decision to accept the invitation to attend Imran Khan’s swearing-in ceremony. He also remained defiant on the controversy over his hug to Pakistani Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

He, however, clarified that it was “just a moment” with General Bajwa, following which he did not have any interaction with the Pakistani Army chief during his stay in the neighbouring country.

Sidhu also said that he was showered with immense love during his visit to Pakistan and was overwhelmed.

Sidhu went there because a cricketing friend invited him. he did not go as Congress representative that too with the prior permission of the Government of India. When you attend a function either you shake hand or hug. And here hugging is the tradition of Muslims as well as Sikhs . What is wrong Sidhu has done?

One have to lead by example, big or small.
BJP was very critical of INC of their PAK policies.
However their first PM Vajapayeeji after becoming PM went to Pak, started direct bus service and started samjuota express. Then their Army General Mushraff refused to even handshake him.
But lets forget about Vajapayeeji, he was anyway a man of peace; this initiation was expected of him.

But Modi was very very critical of Pak policies; but when came to power, he too went to Pak, hugged Nawaz Sharif to the utter surprise of so many!
Before him Ved Prakash Vaid, Ramdev's confidant even went and met Mumbai terror attack Master mind Hafeez saeed also.
Yet no criticism from RSS, BJP! why, what I used to hate, if I do then it's fine?
People of India are following their leader, in what tongue now they can criticize Sidhu's Pak visit?
THEIR STAND AND DOUBLE ROLE EXPOSED COMPLETELY!

Some points on the Anti National who went to Pakistan first:
1.He said Hindustan itna bada desh with itna chota dil !!
Justifying his hugging ! This is outrageous!
2.The Anti National further said " Khaayanat meaning heaven or something above than that was what he got during his 2 day stay in Pakistan!
Why does he want to return back ?
3.All during the press conference he held our country responsible for not giving peace a chance ! He is equating himself with the great Atalji and the present PM!
What a traitor this mindless from Punjab has turned out to be.
Playing politics whilst our soldiers die every day trying to protect us from the evil designs of a rogue nation.
This Man has single handedly caused outrage in the whole Nation by his act.
Utterly disgraceful, insulting the martyrs ,being the representative of his State which has suffered so much.
    People will never forgive.
He will sink and of his party does not act it will sink with him.

With due respect to the sacrifice done by our martyrs and our soldiers for the Indian soil, I have a question, why the confrontation attitude by BJP to the Pakistani new government . Why this hug by Siddu to Pakistani Army General has irritated only to the rigid mind set people.

India is not at all a coward country and this hug of Siddu , will not make any impact on the Indian military. But the innumerous death of our Indian soldiers, at the Indian borders including Punjab, the suffering of those families who lost their loved ones while serving in military, nobody can fill it but we call their sacrifice as "martyr's".

If that hug of Siddu has at least opened the door of peace with Pakistan, then why not look at a positive angle but not narrow mind. if the issue of border with Pakistan sorted out, then the entire military budget can be used for the betterment of Indian people. Politicians always keep the issue burning only for their own selfish end, that is clinging to power.

    Harold and Pooki....
    1. Give Peace a chance ....Yes ...How many times ?
2.Diplomacy Yes .....How many times ?
You people will never understand the Pakistan military.Their very existence lies in
Opposing and hurting our country !!They understand only one language.
Nawaz was a moderate. They shunted him out and brought in a puppet Imran.
How are things going to change ??
3.This fellow has just walked into a bloody trap.
Have you heard his Press Conference ?
4.No talks till terror stops is our policy. Our Government is a democratically elected one mind you and it does not behove of a MLA of ours to go there and behave like he did.
Do you know of the Army General and the harm he has inflicted here killing even civilians?Do you know the pain of the soldiers ??
This is a time for us to stay United.Harold ....Not crib among ourselves.
Our Country comes first and whosoever harms or tries to harm it must be shown their place.

Bhandu mam, you are just rotating the matter like making semige.

Just answer my question: Whether the hugging of Sharif by Modi is okay for you? If so then why this drama for Sidhu hugging pakistan miliatary chief.

I do not want your explanation of what happens in Pakistan. I am least bothered as I am an Indian. Answer my above questions but keep your answer short.

you have written such a lengthy jap on Sidhu issue. My simple question to a blind bhakt like you is what is your opinion on Modi hugging sharief and eating biriyani?

also suggest you to shorten your lengthy lectures and learn one liners.

Do not go around circles spoiling the atmosphere.
The foreign policy is the prerogative of the Prime Minister.
That every public representative has to follow it need not be drilled into somebody.
You are equating this to that of a PM's gesture when he was taking the initiative.
Who is Siddhu compared to the PM or the late PM Atalji.?
Who has given him the responsibility to try ?
Go as a cricketer stay put.
Never open arms or your trap.

    1. 'Dil itna chota' was a reaction to the noise being made by your likes and not any kind of justification. If you talk about justification, get one from the pioneer Indian of this hugging culture that happens to be your idol
    2. What's wrong in appreciating a good hospitality? 'Return back' is wrong English, 'return' would suffice.
    3. It's just verbal diarrhea and doesn't deserve any response.

Samit Patra, I have seen Indians and Pakistanis while working in the Middle East. North Indians and Pakistanis both are the same mind set, Not much difference.

If the hug with Pakistan officials by Sidhu was wrong, then first condemn the visit of unofficial visit of Modiji at Pakistan soil. Siddu had done openly and now if you want to grill him, do it. BJP always adopt confrontation attitude at the cost of common man as the politicians, leaders always are safe, protected by the security people.

Navjoth Siddhu visited Pakistan after availing Government's permission though he is not obliged to because he is a free citizens and there is no embargo on Indians visiting Pakistan. At the same time, Siddhu did not go to sell some secret information about the country. Why are BJP members holding him at gun point ?

Let BJP go after those who fled the country after committing bank frauds. Not after those go as per legal permission and return.
