Karkala, Oct 16: Datta oblation will be performed at Hiryangadi Shivathikere Lord Umamaheshwara temple near here, on Saturday October 18, between 9 am and 12 am.
On the occasion of Datta mala Abhiyan, the activists of Vishwa Hindu Parishat and Bajarang Dal of Karkala have organized the Datta oblation. Later, Prasadam distribution followed by community feast will be arranged at the venue.
The Datta devotees and members of the public are invited and requested to participate in the event, said Sunil K Kotian, in a release.
