Mangalore, Oct 15:
"It is the need of the hour for the youth to dream for better future to empower our nation. They are the backbone of the country," said Dr Kripa Amar Alva, advisor, Airport Authority of India here on Wednesday October 15.
 
She was speaking after inaugurating a two-day national seminar 'Youth at Crossroads' organized by department of MSW, St Aloysius College at High School Hall.

Dr Kripa said that there has been increasing shortage of youth in social service sector. Today large part of the young population is involved in IT sector. But the youngsters should also think of getting into service sector.
 
Fr Francis Serrao SJ, Rector, St Aloysius College Institutions also spoke on the occasion. Seminar coordinator Pearl Barboza welcomed. Student coordinator Tutu Jose proposed vote of thanks.
 
Principal Fr Swebert D'Silva SJ, dean Fr Francis Almeida SJ, HoD Ida D'Souza were present on the occasion.
