BANGALORE, Oct 15: Home Minister V.S. Acharya has expressed concern over Bangladeshi and Pakistani nationals overstaying in the State. He has appealed to the Union Government to introduce a national personal identification registrar for identifying foreigners who are staying in the State after the expiry of their visas.

Dr. Acharya told presspersons on Tuesday that even after the expiry of the visa period, several foreign nationals have been staying in various cities, including Bangalore and the coastal parts of the State. Many such foreigners were also fomenting communal trouble. They need to be identified and deported straightway, he said.

NIC meet

The national integration council meeting, held in New Delhi on Monday, took stock of various developments in the State and the Yeddyurappa Government has proposed several measures, including appointment of police officers selected from among the local community, to help maintain communal harmony, he said. Stating that the Centre should be proactive in extending assistance to the State Government to tackle increased terror threats, especially those funded and supported by external forces, he said effective steps must be taken to stop infiltration of terrorists from across the western and eastern borders of our country.

Asked about the criminal case filed against Minister for Science and Technology Anand Asnotikar, Dr. Acharya said the matter was subjudice.

All illegal immigrants from Bangladesh and Pakistan should be driven out of Karnatka immediately. Maharashtra has been doing this for very long time, however these people keep sneaking back by paying bribes to greedy security forces deployed to safeguard our borders. See what's happening in Assam today.

Let the home minister form a special squad of police to track down these people and deport them straightway & centre stop issuing VISA's to Bangladeshis and Pakis under the pretext of humanitarian ground. For peace loving karnataka people they may look like innocuous poor Indian Bengali and muslim from UP & Bihar.

Shaun, Mangalore Donot just write something irrelevant for writing sake and drawing attention. You should know the impact of these illegal immigrants staying in our state and causing harms to us & kind of catastrophe, killings etc they might carry out at the instance their handlers? We all have to strictly oppose and show concern for any further stay of those people in Karnataka. Prevention is better than cure.

I would like to remind vishal that there are dime a dozen illegal immigrants from Bangladesh in Rajasthan and they were linked to the bomb blast in Jaipur. And the C.M Maharani Vasundhara Raje had promised to flush them out... but what has been the outcome?? nothing.. we need to realize that politicians silently adore illegal immigrants as they are a vote bank. Now I don'nt think its a wise idea to corner UPA as even the NDA government did nothing to stop illegal immigration from Srl Lanka,Bangladesh.

Flushing out Bangladeshis & Pakistani's should be carried out at first priority as this has become major source of communal violence in Karnataka & Indian cities. Congress , UPA & Communists are responsible for this as the leaders of these political parties don't have love for India, but they only need power & loot tax payers money & invest some percentage on minorities.

Dear V.S.Acharyaji:There are more than 2 thousand Bangladeshi's in your own Home town, who are employed in your supported Project Nagrjuna/Sizlon and elsewhere. You may Identify/Trap them at Telephone Booths where they converse with thier Home country.

For sure they will make thier city and no one will be allowed to enter thier Place.Hence Please arrange to take Appropriate measures from the right begining and also when you are in Power.
