Udupi: Miscreants Vandalize Tebma Company Property

Udupi, Oct 14: Unidentified miscreants forced their way into the premises of Tebma Shipyard in Malpe on the night of Monday October 13 and vandalized the property there. They also injured a security guard in the process.

Four strangers, who came in two motor bikes, damaged an ambulance and other equipments found inside the Tebma premises. They shattered the glass of the ambulance, besides hitting tubelights, chairs and attendance machine of the company with boulders. It is said that they also posed life threat to another guard on the other side, besides beating him up and snatching away his mobile phone.

It is now being claimed that the security guards were assaulted on October 1 too. A case has been registered by the Malpe police about the incident.
