Mangalore, Oct 13: An incident of miscreants having destroyed a wooden cross at Padu Karandady in Bondatila village has come to light on Monday October 13. Though it was not known as when did the incident take place, locals have lodged the complaint with the Kankanady police immediately after they came to know about it on Monday.

The cross was placed here many decades. It chiefly served as sign post for long for the devotees of Fermai, Demmale, Padu and Bondantila who had to walk down to Omzoor church for their spiritual needs. However once the new church was built at Fermai, devotees stopped using this way. But they retained the cross on the same spot.

Recently, some miscreants have completely destroyed the cross. Police visited the spot and have initiated probe to arrest the miscreants.

This is heinous kind of terrorism. Shame on communal BJP - the communalists. In addition they have completely burnt down a church in Bangalore, early this morning.

Shameless and disgraced outfit after power. Ban bjp and the entire RSS including their disgraced outfits. BJP and the RSS with its lunatic fringes are anti-India, anti people, anti democracy, anti civilisation. Every civilian should disown them. Make them bite the dust.

The yeddiyurappa government has failed miserably to protect the interest and welfare of its citizens. It is involved in harrassing the minorities, farmers, socially weak and underprivileged people. The future looks bleak not only for Chrsitians but for all Kannadigas as this state is going down to its grave.
