Mangalore: Facility for Sterilisation of Cats Inaugurated

Mangalore, Oct 13: Animal Care Trust a registered NGO and animal rights group, recognized by Animal Welfare Board of India, having its animal shelter at Shaktinagar is now providing for Cat sterilization. For the past 8 years our Trust has been working for street animals, birds, and reptiles. We conduct the Animal Birth Control and Anti-rabies program for street dogs  and also pet dogs in Mangalore City.


Ward Dhruv Tara being inaugurated on Oct 11, 2008 at 11.00 am is donated by Diwakar Manjunath Bhat and family. This ward is going provide the following facility exclusive for cats:


Cat Sterilization
Cat/kitten adoption program
Cat/kitten rescue ( accident/ trauma cases)
Housing/ boarding of cats/ kittens
Grooming of cats/kittens




 

The sterilization program will done at nominal rates and post-operative care also will be provided wherever necessary. Cost of operating a female cat is Rs.300/- and male is Rs.200/-. This cost does not include post-operative treatment and food charges.
