Mangalore: ‘Innocent Voices: Innocent Songs’ CD Released

Mangalore, Oct 12:
‘Innocent Voices: Innocent Songs’, a children’s musical CD by Golden Talents Academy, Mumbai, was released at Kalabhavan, Sandesh Kala Kendra  on Saturday October 11.
 
Addressing the gathering, Neville Dehnugar, director of the Academy, said he wanted to use the talents of students of the academy for a good cause. He added that Rs 25 from the sale of each CD would go to an orphanage.



‘We are donating Rs 25 from each CD to Sophia Special Home—an orphanage for mentally-challenged children. We will donate Rs 50 from each CD to the special home, once we recover our investment,’ said Dehnugar.
 
Fr Valerian Mendonza praised Dehnugar for bringing out the CD. He opined that it is difficult to train children in music. Fr Mendonza commended Dehnugar for having made a great contribution to society by nourishing the talents of children.
 
Congress leader Ivan D’Souza, Arun Raj of Mand Sobhann, Subhash Bolar, Shiva Charan Shetty and Jokim Miranda, were present.
