Mangalore Oct 11: The Canara Organization for Development and Peace(CODP) organised a leadership training camp for the self-help groups in the Neermarga Church premises recently. CODP Professional Unit co-ordinator Victor D'Silva presided over the function. Church priest Fr Charles Menezes inaugurated the camp.
President of Neermarga grama panchayat Usha Naik, activists of CODP Dennis D'Souza and George Misquith were present.
Co-ordinator of CODP Shankar Shetty delivered introductory address. Water resources unit organiser of CODP, Joseph Pinto Pedamale welcomed the gathering. President of Prakruti Self-Help Group, Walter Saldahna compered the programme. President of Sadhana Self Help Group Concepta Rodrigues proposed vote of thanks.
