Bangalore: BSP Protests against Desecration of Dr Ambedkar's Statue

Bangalore, Oct 9: The Bahujan Samaj Party held a protest against the desecration of a statue of Dr Ambedkar by some miscreants on the night of  Monday October 6.

The BJP Government, which was reeling under the pressure mounted on it after the recent attacks on minorities in the state, is facing fresh problem because of the said incident. Under these circumstances, desecration of the statue has forced the state government to hang its head in shame, said state president of the party Marasandra Muniyappa.

He has demanded suspension of senior police officials for their failure to protect Ambedkar's statue and also for launching an intensive search to arrest the miscreants immediately.
