Canada: Mangalorean Friendship Cricket - Temple Team XI Champions

Media Release

Canada, Oct 6:  The first Mangalorean Friendship Series tournament ended with all the excitement and nail biting finish one could expect of a festive friendly cricket.  There were fireworks at the end as sixes and fours rained down. There were some great bowling moments, some wonderful fielding and wicket keeping.

The turnout was double than expected and some adjustments to the playing conditions and regulations were put into effect to accommodate the vast turnout.

The Temple Team XI were the winners and the MM XI took the runners up trophy.

The Sponsors/Organizers have decided to make this a regular annual event with other sporting events as part of their plan.  The feedback was highly encouraging.

The Sponsors/Organizers, Wilson D’Souza (BMO) and Reynold Sequiera (RE/MAX) along with Orlando Lewis and Melwyn Menezes take this opportunity to thank all the participants who responded to the short notice and all those who helped voluntarily in any capacity  to make this an exciting day of sportive cricket.
