Mangalore, Oct 4: The inter-collegiate volleyball tournament for Mangalore City PU College was conducted recently at Mangala Stadium. It was hosted by Dr NSAM  PU College, Nanthoor, with 16 boys’ teams and  9 girls’ teams from different city PU colleges.

The tournament was inaugurated by M Rajendra, director, finance and  planning, Nitte Education Trust, Mangalore. R Rajashekar, registrar, Nitte Education Trust, was present as well as the principal of the college Prof M Mohan Shetty, and all  staff members.

Ganesh, physical director, of K S Hegde Medical Academy, Deralakatte, and Rajaram Shetty, physical director, NGSM Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Deralakatte, were in charge of conducting the tournament.
