France: Dr Ganesh S Pai of Derma-Care Attends 17th Congress of EADV

Paris, Sep 29: Dr Ganesh S Pai, Medical Director of Derma-Care, Skin and Cosmetology Centre, Mangalore attended the 17th Congress of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) meeting held at Palais des Congres, on 16th of September 2008 to 21st of September 2008 at Paris, France.

The meeting was attended by over 2000 skin specialists from European countries.  Dr Pai’s innovative work on “Laser management of deep acne scars” was exhibited as a poster during the entire duration of the conference.

His work drew several enquires at Alma Lasers booth, whose Alma Harmony Laser equipment was used for this new technique. Post acne scarring of the cheeks is a major cosmetic problem in the young population today, and until recently there were no techniques to proper management of chronic acne scarring. Three deferent modalities are used to tackle difficult acne scarring.
