Panaji, Sep 6: Digital Goa has produced Goa’s first comprehensive multimedia CD – Discover Goa - containing thousands of photographs and write ups on every aspect of Goa.

The comprehensive CD, which is designed to serve as a repository of information on Goa for locals and tourists alike, was released here recently

The CD covers a broad range of Goa related topics such as art and culture, history, Government and administration, biodiversity, statistics, business and economy, religion, festivals, cuisines, beaches and a wide range of tourist related information . The comprehensive CD is designed as a one stop reference on Goa for students, teachers, NRGs, tourists and all other Goa enthusiasts.

“This educative and information-packed CD is sure to bring Goa at everyone’s fingertips, says Niraj Naik of Digital Goa.

“Goa is an international tourist destination. Lakhs of tourist – domestic as well as foreign – visit this beautiful state every year. However, except for few popular tourist places, there is hardly any literature or awareness about the rest of Goa”, Mr Naik added. This CD aims at bringing to the world, richness of Goa in terms of our composite culture, rich history, enchanting surroundings and environment and the strides Goa has made in terms of development. This will provide a new insight into Goa for the tourist and educate Goans in general and our younger generation in particular about our rich heritage and encourage them to preserve it for posterity, he added.
