M'lore: Translation of Edwin D'Souza's 'Chocolates' Featured in Reader's Digest Publication

Mangalore, Sep 1: Konkani novelist and short story writer Edwin J F D' Souza's short story 'Chocolates' has appeared in the July-August issue of 'Joy', a magazine published by  Reader's Digest, India.

This is the first time an English translation of a Konkani short story has been featured in a Reader's Digest publication. 'Chocolates' was originally written in Konkani and published in 'Raknno', the Konkani weekly.

The story was also published by the Sahitya Akademi in the May-June 2008 issue of its magazine on Indian literature. D'Souza is the director of Konkani Institute, St Aloysius College.
