Udupi, Sep 1: Shruti Bhat, a resident of Udyavar, near here has bagged 67 percent marks in Bharatanatyam Pre-Vidwat examinations for the year 2007-08, conducted by Karnataka Higher Secondary Board.  She is the daughter of Balakrishna and Veena Bhat from Udyavar.

Meanwhile, Sujana, a resident of city, bagged the first place by scoring 92.5 percent in the Bharatanatyam junior division examinations.  She is the daughter of Dinesh and Sumati Kalyani.

Both are disciples of Pratima Kiran and Praveen Mohan of Kalanidhi Institute, located at Kunjibettu.
