Mangalore: MCC Bank Kinnigoli holds Customers' Meet

Mangalore, Aug 30: Kinnigoli branch of Mangalore Catholic Cooperative Bank organized customers' meet at the branch premises on Thursday August 28. Members of the newly-formed Board of Directors of the Bank Richard Monteiro, Valerian Rodrigues, Raymond D'Cunha, Jacintha Boromeo, Edolpus Coutinho (Dolla) and Kinnigoli branch in-charge Valerian Sequeira were present on the occasion.
 
Branch manager Clifford D'Costa presented a brief report, statistics and present position of the Kinnigoli branch of the bank. Raymond D'Cunha, while spelling out objectives of the bank, appealed to the customers and the share-holders to cooperate with and support the bank in its endeavours and to come out with valuable suggestions to improve the efficiency of the Bank.

Replying to various queries raised by the customers present, Richard Monteiro, while explaining various kinds of loans which the bank is offering and the rates of interest thereon, and pointed out that the bank's rates were comparatively very low. He appealed to the customers to take benefit of various schemes which are available with the bank. Even though the bank has suffered losses during the past few years, every effort is being made by the new Board of Directors to improve the financial position of the bank.

Within the next few months, he revealed. Edolpus Coutinho (Dolla), while narrating a joke about doubts, requested the customers to have no doubts and fear about the safety and functioning of the bank and requested them to give a supporting hand to the bank to improve its performance.

Rekha Patrao welcomed the guests and the gathering. Valerian Sequeira proposed vote of thanks. Richard Saldanha compered the programme.
