Bangalore, Aug 30: Newly-inducted horticulture and prisons minister Umesh Katti said that no one in the BJP has become unhappy over his induction into the state cabinet. "I have many friends in the BJP," he explained.

Speaking to newsmen after starting to work from his new office at Vidhana Soudha here on Friday August 29, he said he has many fans and friends in the BJP. Hence, his entry has not made anyone unhappy. "I had to leave the JD(S) as it had become a party belonging to a single family in the recent past," he said.

Katti exuded confidence that the BJP will emerge victorious and bag several Lok Sabha seats from the state in the ensuing election.
