Bangalore: KSRTC Hikes Bus Fares

Bangalore, Aug 29: The state-run Karnataka Road Transport Corporation and BMTC have hiked the bus fares of the services run by them, with affect from midnight on Thursday August 28.

The hike is around ten per cent for ordinary buses and 12 per cent for luxury buses. As far as the BMTC services in Bangalore are concerned, fares have been increased by about nine per cent and by one rupee for all trips above four kms for city services.
