Mangalore: Two from the Twin-districts Selected for Best Teacher Award

Mangalore, Aug 29: The state government has selected 20 primary and ten high school teachers for awarding the state-level best teacher award for the year 2008-09. These awards will be presented at a function to be held at Davangere on the occasion of the Teachers' Day to be observed on September 5 this year, a release stated.

From Dakshina Kannada, Chandravati of the zilla panchayat higher primary school, Mullakadu in the city has been selected for this coveted award. From Udupi district, H Chandrashekhara Kedlaya, assistant teacher of Nirmala High school Brahmavar has made the grade.
